What are “furry” comics, you ask? In basic terms, it just means comics with animal characters that act like humans. They walk, they speak. Never given it much thought, have you? But you are probably surrounded by furry comics and not know it.
If you’re interested to know more, start with these 4 furry web comics that I’ve picked out.
A Chipmunk and a Lizard
A Chipmunk and a Lizard is a web comic which was created by Jon Thayer and Howard August in 2002.

Digger
Digger is a comic by Ursula Vernon concerning a female wombat called Digger of Unnecessarily Complex Tunnels.

Sequential Art
Sequential Art is a web comic of furry interest created by artist Phillip M. Jackson. The series’ Earth uses the same set-up as our present world, except that is is populated with a combination of anthropomorphic and human beings.

Lackadaisy
Lackadaisy is a furry web comic created by female artist Tracy J. Butler, set in a Prohibition-era 1927 St. Louis inhabited by anthropomorphic cats. The plot chronicles the fortunes of the Lackadaisy Speakeasy after its founder is murdered. The style of the comic is highly detailed, and the pages are sepia-toned, resembling aged photographs.
