Using your photos to make a slideshow for free is probably the easiest way to share experiences and connect with friends and loved ones from a distance. The internet has made this task a simple one because now you can quickly share anything online, quickly and easily. Today, we can even create beautiful slideshows of our photos as a neat way to present them.
There are many services on the internet that help make a slideshow for free. For this article, we would like to present you with three common web services that you’re probably already familiar with but perhaps you weren’t aware of this feature. Each of these sites can easily take the photos you already have online and put make slideshows for you to share.
How To Make Slideshows With Picasa Web

Google developed a photo program called Picasa that you can download to manage and edit your photos on your computer. They also have a web version which allows you to upload your photos into albums, manage them, and edit them online. You may not be aware that you can also present your Picasa Web albums in slideshows and share them.
It’s really easy to to make a slideshow for free using Picasa Web. Just go into one of your albums and look for the “embed slideshow” link off to the right.
When you click it, you’ll get a pop-up with the embed code.

The only caveat here is that embedding is the only way to share the slideshow. You can share the link to the album though.
How To Make Slideshows With YouTube (Stupeflix Video Maker)

YouTube now has a very simple to use slideshow maker called Stupeflix Video Maker which has some templates that will help spice your slideshow up a bit. It will allow you to import pictures from Facebook, Flickr, Picasa or your hard drive. After you’re done making your slideshow with Stupeflix, upload it to YouTube and then share it from there.
Stupeflix is also very simple to use. To make a slideshow, all you need to do is choose a template and then head to the main page. From here you can add pictures and videos, add a background track (including uploading your own), and add stuff like slide titles, maps, and custom transitions.

Stupeflix, even though it’s a simple tool to use, has several more features so you can come up with a pretty neat looking slideshow to share with your friends and family.
How To Make Slideshows With Flickr
Flickr is Yahoo’s offering into the photo sharing niche and it’s been intensely popular through the years. Many people use photostreams to share their lives in photos. Flickr is good in that you can make a slideshow, embed it and link to it (including emailing a link).
To make a slideshow for free using Flickr, just sign into your Yahoo or Flickr account and click on the photostream that you want to make into a slideshow. If you haven’t got any photo streams yet, simply upload the photos you wish to add into your slideshow.
For the purposes of this tutorial, I’ll be choosing the photostream from one of my favorite pastimes: Adirondack hiking.

Just click on the “slideshow” button:

Then you’ll find the “share” link at the top right corner which gives you a drop-down list of options. Just select the option you need, copy and share the respective URL.

As mentioned before, there are tons of slideshow making web services on the internet that will get this job done resulting in a beautiful slideshow. These are three sites that many people are familiar with and also helps you to make slideshows for free.
