The Best iPhone Photography Apps That Money Can Buy

iphone

I love taking pictures with my iPhone. Even with the iPhone 2G’s ridiculously low-resolution camera, I still loved the fact that I had a camera with a powerhouse of photography apps with me wherever I went. Things just got a whole lot better with the iPhone 4. Its 5MP camera definitely ups the ante a bit. A better processor also means faster image editing. And there’s something about editing a photo that adds your personal signature to it. I always add an effect to a photograph before sharing it with friends or on Facebook.

Today, I’d like to share some of those iPhone apps with you. These are the ones that I use frequently. I highly recommend each and every one of them.

Percolator

This is a new app that I’ve just found. Percolator is the new photo app for the iPhone and iPod touch that takes your photos and transforms them into colorful designs. Available now for only 99¢!

Camerabag

I use Camerabag Desktop to enhance most of my images. Camerabag for iPhone does about the same thing as its desktop brethren. It has a bunch of predefined image effects that it applies to any image in your library or from a fresh photo taken with the camera.

Hipstamatic

I’ve been using Hipstamatic for such a long time now. There was a short span a few months ago when I was without an iPhone, I felt so withdrawn. The Hipstamatic for iPhone is an application that brings back the look, feel, unpredictable beauty, and fun of plastic toy cameras from the past.

Mill Colour [iTunes link]

This free app allows you to alter any image with the precision and subtlety of professionals. Very much like Camerabag, it’s got several predefined image effects but it also lets you fine-tune those adjustments.

moreLomo

Yet another free app but you’ll be pleasantly surprised at what this simple, zero-dollar app is able to achieve. There are no settings. It basically produces random lomography-like effects whenever you snap a shot.

I’m sure that there are a lot more apps out there but these are my all-time favourites. Care to share yours?

  1. I’ve been browsing on-line more than 3 hours today, but I by no means found any interesting article like yours. It¡¦s pretty worth sufficient for me. In my view, if all web owners and bloggers made good content material as you did, the web might be a lot more useful than ever before.

  2. Great site. A lot of useful info here. I am sending it to some friends ans also sharing in delicious. And certainly, thanks for your effort!
