Currently, the team is diagnosing lung cancer using bronchopscopy and FNAC (Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology), which involves poking a needle into the patient’s lung in order to grab a specimen. Upgrading the team’s equipment will help to diagnose lung cancer more accurately, and more importantly, less invasively.
